    Blu-Ray vs HD-DVD ?

    whats the difference ?
    without technical terms,
    and should i buy HD DVD's if i have a blu-ray player because they're cheaper?
    will the HD DVD's will play on my ps3 ?

    Two different recording formats. If you're one of those who jumped on the HD band wagon before the HD-DVD and Blue Ray war was detemined, cut your losses and move forward with Blue Ray only. See links news below.

    I waited to upgrade my theater equipment until the battle was decided, now I'm waiting a bit more until the prices come down to commen sense levels both in Blue Ray movies as well as the equipment to drive it. 1080p projector prices have dropped in 1/2 the last 6 months alone, A/V HDMI tuners are now priced ready to buy, movie titles will soon be in enough quantity and price points that will represent normal $ for the average consumer.
