Steven Spielberg vs Martin Scorsese?

I'd have to say Spielberg wins this one because his movies are so diverse and do not follow one main genre as do Scorsese's movies. Scorsese focuses mainly on the mobster/gangster genre, and although his movies are exceptional for that theme, his movies are too one dimensional and deal with the same ideas and scenarios. Spielberg, however, ranges from War of the Worlds to Schindler's List, a director that incorporates almost every aspect of the filming world.
