I have an idea ha or ideal for what i want in a relationship. Currently, i've lowered my standards for how i wish my relationship would operate.
over time, my relationship has been improving and it makes me happy that there's progress yet it's still under par. i don't communicate with my gf how i would like to or handle issues in an effective manner.

are my ideals tying us up and should i just accept how we function together? ha, which is dysfunctional... but i gotta admit... it keeps getting easier. we fight a lot and get over it quickly... i'm getting used to it. tho it's still stressful.
