    Poem MY LAST GOODBYE

    The pale face
    Turns to dust
    As you lie there
    Waiting.
    You look so different
    Its not truly you
    Your cheeks
    So cold
    They feel
    So cold
    When I press mine
    On yours.
    Its hard to breathe
    As you lie there
    Breathless.
    Breathless you lay
    I wait for your heart
    To beat again and
    Again.
    But the disappointment
    Runs through my
    Face.
    I look at you
    Over there.
    Lying so pale
    The coffin
    Surrounded by
    All flowers
    And all your
    Loved ones.
    We all cry
    As we watch
    You lie
    Some even run
    Out of the room
    My mom takes my
    Hand
    While I stand
    Waiting and
    Watching over you.
    The day it ends
    The last I see
    You.
    So I say my
    Goodbye
    And
    I love you.

    Poem SHADOWS

    Shadows on my soul
    Shadows flitting through my mind
    Shadows creeping, weeping,
    through everything they find;
    Sunshine breaks through slowly
    it doesn't last for long
    for sunshine causes shadows
    and shadows steal my song.
My life has been a shadow,
just a shadow of what could be
For my soul is just a Shadow
of the person that is ME.

    THE ROSES

My eyes witnessed an astounding sight
The freshness of dew, the sweetness of pine
The sapphire creek, the misty peak
The smiling roses, the greenish garden

And you were there, standing beside
    Plucking roses, collecting a pile
Slowly you turned with a tinge of smile
In those lips red as cherry

Those striking eyes emanated a glow
Towing me in your magnetic gaze
Then I saw you come near
My heart thumped, skipping a beat

I waited there for your one glance
For a rose with my name
Specially blossomed and sent through you
    But you passed evading me

I waited and waited for so long
The seasons changed, new roses blossomed
But my garden was still deserted
Waiting for a rose from you

Is today the day? I see you approaching
With the whole basket towards me
Or as always will you leave?
    Leaving me all alone here

    Slowly you come very close
Now I am sure those roses are for me
You stop and look and sit beside
Waiting with the basket in your hand

With mixed emotion, I say to myself
    Finally the day has arrived
As I see you with tears
Placing the roses on my grave

    Poem EYES OF STONE

    I betrayed my dear friend
    The founder of this land
Our last words were angry, tinted wit hate
We lashed out, didn't think, in our tiresome debate
Later he was lost to a storm
    Piloting his ship
Forgive we never did, though I long to make-up
His statue was placed in the middle of town
    His hips held his hands,
His face a smile, that you could tell shadowed a frown
As I hustled by I couldn't help see
His cold eyes of stone looking down at me
From then on out, every time I shuffled by
All I could see was betrayal in his eyes

    Poem SAD EYES

I weep, because I cannot kiss your
    distant face.
And I wake tired of this dream,
in which I could not see,
    the sad eyed man,
who sayed beside me through my turbulent night

uhhhh i hope this is depressing enough.
