14TH jULY 2008 - Bank Holiday???

My diary says that 14th July is a bank holiday in the UK and Ireland. Does anyone else have the same??????

Wondering if it's a mis print in my diary as like you I was under the impression that our next bank holiday is 25th August. But my diary says that 14th July is a bank holiday for UK and NI! Weird! Oh well, I'm gonna go by my diary and have a day off work :-D :-D

Its only an NI bank holiday commemorating the Battle of the Boyne.

No it is NOT a Bank Holiday in The North Of Ireland.
The 14th July is, and that is to celebrate the Battle Of The Boyne which is actually on the 12th July, biut thats a Saturday this year and our banks here in Ireland don't open on a Saturday.
