Hello, ding dong think about it $4.00 is one gallon so if you had 30 miles to the gallon the cost is $120.00 for gas just to fill up your tank if it was empty.Come on. Im just a kid and you were in Japan in 1978

Seriously.. I posted the same question (different wording) a few weeks ago. If you were smart enough to pass America's rigorous education and get a good paying job, you will be getting periodic raises/promotions to counteract the rising gas prices and constantly changing GDP. By the time gas is $8.00 per gallon, my salary will be twice as high. I feel bad for America's misfortuned... but sorry, it's not our fault you consolidated your own fate as the lower class.

Racey Lacey: You should've chose a better career path. If it took you 25 years to get your first 7% raise, something is clearly wrong here. People are definitely getting rich... but that's fine with me. If money makes them happy, so be it. Money isn't my primary cause of happiness but I am glad to say that I am living comfortably in the U.S. Who cares about what others are getting and what you are not...
