I'm having extreme lower back spasms in left side of my back, I can't do...

...anything but lay there and scream The spasms are so bad from my lower back to mid back all the way around to my stomach area feels like concrete. It took my husband 5 hours Sunday to get me up and to the emergence clinic where I had to lay flat on my stomach for 2.5 hours before the Dr could see me.

I have been visiting a chiropractor for about 23 yrs, and the emergency clinic has given me valium and Loratab that I have been taking 10mg of valum and 2 loratab every 4 to 5 hours a day and I am still hurting.

Visit your local chiropractor. Even though many people think there quacks there is evidence by double blind studies that chiropractors help relieve back pain faster and cheaper than any other way.

See if any of your friends have the muscle relaxer Flexadril if you can't get into the doctor. That will work great. Then go to sleep and when you wake up, you should be all better.
