your question doesnt make sense...does your laptop have built-in wifi on it? make sure its enabled...the router needs to have the internet going to it. Then on your laptop right click on the bottom right hand corner where you see 2 computer screens...(icons)...then select connect to a network. A list of networks will show up, if any are available. Remember to use a specific name when setting up your router...so you know what to look for...also...some security details might stop you from connecting to it...(ie: if it's passworded or what not) Good Luck...and next time PLEASE be more specific.

if your on a PC you go in to control panel and there should be something representing your wireless card in there (it should say the name under it) you double click on that go to networks and hit scan. It should detect your network. You click on that enter your password if you have one then it should work. Hope this helps.

You have to have a wireless router in your house for it to really work. There are different ones that you can buy. The one I have is really cheap sp the internet isn't as fast as it could be. Try best buy, circut city, or micro center(that's where I got mine from). Good luck.

There [should] be either a little wirless icon down the bottom right of you screen which you can double click on (allowing you to select a wirless network)

    or

Start >> Connect to >> Wireless network.

    If not read the manual?
    _

On the other hand have you even installed the software yet?

Um....do you have a wireless router? If so is it secure? You can not connect to a wireless network by just plugging in a wireless adapter. Need more info.
