Why did he complain to the manager?

Why does a coworker who has a problem with me complains to the manager instead of telling me directly, that he doesn't like me doing something, while acting ALL POLITE and NICE to ME, to the degree i didn't even suspect anything?

Is he doing it because he hates me for whatever reason?

If he is unhappy with what i do, why does he keep acting so FAKELY NICE?-

i guess in "general soceity and culture" is not the right plave for this question

It could be to make himself look better, or it could be that he has hinted to you in some form that you are offending him somehow, or more simple he's a cowerd and being a pain. Good Luck!!

He's a wuss and can't tell you himself. He probably tattled alot as a child. Next time you see him tell him if he has a problem why doesn't he tell you about it.
