Recipe mistake. The recipe for a pasta sauce called for 1/2 a cup of white wine and

instead I added white wine vinegar. I've added a whole stick of butter and shrimp...too much to throw away. What can I add or do to the sauce to cut the zing off from the vinegar?

Sugar is the only answer... we do add sugar to our sauce. Is it a red sauce? Do you have any red dry wine? That would help too, just 1/4 cup and taste.
