Do you know of any good places on the internet where you can read and write stories?

Not fanfiction, but something else were you origanaly created. I can not find any websites where you can do this! Please help!

FanFiction dot Net (fanfic) and FictionPress dot Com (original) are the big ones, in my experience. They're good for anything except adult content. For that, you usually need a dedicated site; something like mcstories (specifically for hypnosis and mind control) or literotica (it only accepts "quality submissions", though, so it's moderated -- not the best if you're impatient, or worse, sloppy with commas).

Other notable fanfiction sites include Archive Of Our Own (AO3), Ficwad, and adultfanfiction. There are countless origific sites -- I kind of like Bookie, but while it's easy to post whatever you want, the reading section is really badly organized. If you want to upload a copy of your story that no one will happen upon so you can link your friends to it, try Pastebin; they have free anonymous unlisted text posting.

Really, the important thing is, why do you want the site? If you want to read: what do you want to read? If you want to write: why? Whom do you hope will read it? Do you want feedback? Do you want money? If you want to get paid for your stories, honestly, it's better to keep the draft offline. Publishers usually look for never-before-posted content.
