Please help,

About 3-4 months ago I bought a Dell Inspiron 1525 SE laptop from a Best Buy far from where I live (they were the only one's that had it). Now the power adapter has broken - not my fault, I don't know why it's broken but it is. I need a new one.

I contacted Dell and since I bought the laptop at BB they can't help me. Now, I didn't buy the BB Warranty or any of that other BS because I always assumed it was a waste of $$$.

But now I need to go back there?
I still have the original receipt, BUT what's the deal?
Do I need to go back to where I bought it or can I go to any BB?
Since it's the just the power adapter do I need to bring the whole laptop?

WILL THEY EVEN DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT if I don't have THEIR warranty?
Is it covered by a Manufacturer's Warranty?

Who knows. Help me if you can. I just don't want to waste 100 bucks buying a new one from DELL when this is the computer's fault for being a piece. Trust me. It's a piece. Thanks for listening.
