free incoming calls with telus.....? help!?

well, i recently just called telus and got free incoming calls for the price of $15.00
luckily, my friend told me that incoming calls were not free.... unless i buy free incoming calls to add to my bill.

my problem is, i dont know if incoming long distance calls are free.... i really need to know!!!

Incoming calls are completely free if you are in your local area. If you are outside your local area then the airtime is free but you will be charged long distance according to your plan. Likely 30 or 35 cents per minute.
