If there is a Y/A rule against ranting or chatting and putting a question mark...

...on it, why aren't they deleted?

At least every other 'question' seems to be a rant or slur.

Some are and some aren't. Yahoo themselves doesn't really police the content, they leave that up to Y/A users. Y/A users are biased. They only report those rants or chats that they don't agree with.

Why don't you just ignore them or respond to them accordingly ....it's a simple concept.

    It's the internet dude....the internet.

I think Y! is overwhelmed with these rants.

I see that Y! seems to be taking more breather lately but it could be just me as I go on in the middle of the night and this maybe be a slow time for them.

Yes I agree. I think the rants are bad and the extremely silly questions should be deleted.

Also the same questions..over and over.

In order for them to be deleted, someone has to report them. If you report a question too often, it's like the little boy who cried wolf with the Yahoo people--the computer stops paying attention to your objections. The best thing to do is just ignore them unless you find one particularly offensive.
