...is cingular will it work with at&t? I lost my old phone so i had to buy a new one off ebay. I'm with at&t and I still have a year and a half w/ my contract and if i bought a new phone and contract it would have been more expensive. The phone is and lg cu500 and is currently branded with cingular.. what type of simcard should i buy? (the phone is GSM)

It will work with AT&T
Just go to an AT&T store and they can get you the new sim card reprogrammed for your old number .
And since you have a contract with them it may be free.
