I would go for that if all states would stop collecting sales taxes on groceries.

You have asked two different questions. The first...Should the Internet be taxed? Check out your phone bill ...it already IS taxed.

As to the other...I believe products sold over the internet should be taxed according to their jurisdictions...which I believe they already are.

Yes - For those who run as a business like Amazon or Buy.com.

No - For individual sellers..

Information should not just be for the wealthy people.
