Was up on Kalgary Tor yesterday. My guide telled me That it derives from the names 'Ka' - to mene korp/us or krop, ie: body, and to mene 'glory'. The idea of crucifiction therefore was to rise up the body glory to that of the sun. later adopted by the greeks.
During the last times of the roma empire, fleeing solders would be raised up like this as a punishment for cowardise. A clerk - called a sabat - would visit dead solders and examine shoes for blood stains and names - these being written here. (clothes got washed after battle). My guide telled me further that a centurion found a body from many bodies and swapped shoes with him. As the body was still alive the centurion speared it to die before the sabat reached it.
The important feature here was the 'raising up' of the cross to the glory of god in heaven - an original sunbed!
Kalgary Tor however is in england, but we were telled not to betray its location.

No religion is not true, really the point of it was to put faith in people and make them have faith in something, without faith in something there is no faith for your self. want more info email [email protected]
