...religions promising eternal rewards? If there has, I can't think of it. Organized religions that promise an eternal reward have to be the greatest pyramid schemes ever thought up by man.
Just think, while all the people you convince to believe in your religion are alive, they're following whatever rules you lay down and supporting your religion financially.
But when they die, at the very moment they are supposed to be able to cash in on that eternal insurance policy they bought through your religion, they can't. So you don't have to give back a cent that they paid into the plan, and the great part about it is they can't even come back and tell everyone else what a big scam it all is because they're dead!
It's the greatest pyramid scheme ever devised. I just wish I'd thought of it.
