Does anybody know how much it costs to test a dog for deafness? I have a white American Bulldog (which are notorious for being deaf) and I want to get him tested because I think he is at least partially deaf. I'm just curious how much the BAER test is. Thanks.

I have a Great Dane puppy that I think might be deaf so I called my local vet who referred me to the only vet (specialty neurologist) in the Dallas Ft Worth area that does this test. The nurse told me that it costs anywhere from $500-$600 depending on the dog.
