What is the point in buying a stripped out racer when you can get an Ariel Atom?

Why would you buy a no-nonsense, impractical, stripped out racer like a Porsche GT3 RS, if you can buy the much faster and cheaper Ariel Atom?

Oh, and you can not actually buy an Ariel Atom. You but the parts, and then assemble it. Not everybody is up to that.
