Does religion make people narrowminded or are rigid people drawn to religion?

My dad is very rigid compared to me, he goes to churc but that's about all he does, how if possible can I get him to think outside the religous box for his own good.

How do you not know that he ALREADY HAS thought outside the religious box and decided that in the Grace of God is where he has found true happyness?

Many of us have already tried the world of sin and never found happyness there.

Maybe he is not the one that needs to change.

    Peace be with you.

I CRAVE to be in church with other Christians, and the spirit of Christ that is there.
It makes me feel God's love and His serenity and peace.

    Maybe ya oughta try it--------------
