1) founded/restored church of Jesus Christ through Joseph Smith by God, Christ personal visitation
2) God has a body of flesh & bone as does the resurrected Savior and the Godhead are 3 separate beings

The MORMON CHURCH (The Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints, or LDS for short) was founded by Joseph Smith.
He was known as a Town Drunk in the village of Palmyra NY before being visited by an angel and given many special insights into God.

Smith eventually gained a minor reputation as a horse thief as well.
Driven out of New York, Ohio, Indiana, and Missouri for their strange doctrines and practices, the LDS found a home in Utah.
