bittorrent wont open, says its already running?

so i downloaded bit torrent, and it was supposed to open on its own after setup but it didnt..so i clicked on it and it said that it was already running..i went to the task manager and tried to end process but it wouldnt let me.

is there a way around this? or another torrent besides bit torrent and utorrent?
