I've noticed a lot of shops are now charging for carrier bags...?

...M&S and B&Q for instance. Obviously they claim its for the environment but where does the money go? Do they put 5p towards some save the planet type charity or does it go towards their profit?

It goes in their own pockets of course. I am sick of how everything is getting more and more expensive in this country now. Also hate people who use the environment as an excuse to charge us more.
