Spybot S&D and Norton Internet security question?

When i imunize my pc with spybot S&D and then i run security inspector scan with norton i get a threat message which says "Ip address in your windows host file have been redirected". Now if i fix this using norton it does the job but then i lose the immunization against global hosts in spybot S&D.
So what is the proper setting?

Turn off Norton's auto protect then immunize using Spybot. Then turn auto protect back on.

Norton is just telling you that something is changing your hosts file, which is a good thing, but since you are using spybot it's ok.

Those progams should not run at the same time, otherwise you will have major problems.
