So I need to transfer my sprint account into another persons name, but I want to port my phone number to a new cell phone. the person at sprint told me it isnt possible, but I dont think that is true. he said that the contract is attatched to THAT phone number, so as soon as you port it, the contract is cancelled and you'll incur a cancellation fee. Anyone done this before? Or does anyone know what I should do?
