    can you change a metro pcs number to a cingular number?

    well if i get cingular (switching from metro pcs, yes i know it sucks.) can i still keep my old number?

    Yes, let the AT&T (cos it's no longer Cingular any more) rep that you have a phone number from metroPCS and you want to port it over to AT&T for wireless. It's something called Wireless Number Portability, and it's been around for a few years now. AT&T has a website that will tell you if it's possible for your number, try it to be on the safe side.
