    Banning from the internet?

If sex offenders were banned from social sites then would that mean that they will never be allowed on the sites again? I mean for the rest of there lives.

And whats the differents between registered sex offenders and unregistered sex offenders???

You have got to be kidding. We can't even keep sex offenders away from schools, playgrounds, parks, bus stops, libraries and day care centers; yet you think that we can keep them from the internet? Myspace has done the best that it can with their filtering process and others have tried their best but the mere fact that the internet is so vast and true identities are so hard to obtain, that policing the internet has become next to impossible.

The best thing to do is be defensive and put the parental locks, filters and blocks on and keep the computer in a main room where you always know what young people are doing.

Yes, for the rest of their lives. And the difference is that registered sex offenders have followed the rules established and are cooperating by registering themselves. Unregistered means that they have not gone through the proper requirements and are in violation of the law, so they more than likely have warrants out for their arrest.
