Alright, I read the opinion page of a newspaper alot and recently I've seen two articles that astounded me.
The first was one in which a pro-war advocate called all people that were against the current war in Iraq, 'Liberal cowards.'
The second article, the next day, was in response this. It basically came up to the plate by calling the original writer and all who were for the war a 'fearmongering conservative.'
Alright, regardless of my own opinion, the second that I read both of these views I laughed. They were basing their entire argument on namecalling. How can someone take them seriously?

The question came to my mind that has been there for a few days. I heard two people, grown men, arguing and basically the argument was the same as I saw in the paper.
Even some of the questions that I have seen on this site have had this theme. Has American truly been reduced to being split on the subject of this war to the point that there are only two sides reduced to insulting the other?
