audio device on high definition audio bus error 28?

i just install my window xp pro, and as i tried to install the driver for audio device on high definition audio bus an error 28 occurred.

i tried to updates the driver but nothing hapen.i cant rollback driver as well. when tried to uninstall it a message will pop up saying ( failed to uninstall the divice, the device may be required to boot up the computer ). i run the driver intaller from the driver dvd but the installation will fail also. how to fix the problem? please help.
