internet history won't erase?

I have tried to erase the history, delete files from the temp and delete cookies nevertheless I still get the auto complete that bring up web sites from my history

Tools -> Internet Options -> Content -> AutoComplete -> Clear Forms

If you have IE 7 you have to go into Internet options. Then make sure you're on the general tab. Click Delete. A new window should pop up. Click delete passwords. You may also want to click delete forms. When you have completed this, go to the Content tab in Internet options. Click settings under auto complete. Uncheck anything you dont want saved. REMEMBER TO CLICK OK AND APPLY! Hope this helps.
