Which media player software have an equal quality to Stage6 (Divx)?

I use Gomplayer its excellent and it has it's own build in codecs to watch any file type. Try it at http://www.gomplayer.com its a free player and you can adjust the filters, picture and sound quality.

Another one is VLC player - http://www.vlc.com this has it's own built in programme to patch broken avi files.

Neither of them are spyware so you are safe on that score.
