How long does applesauce stay once opened?

Once you open a jar of applesauce and place it in the fridge, how long does it last before it goes bad? The labels never indicate a shelf life. Thanks

I'm not sure how long it's "safe", but we keep jars after they've been opened up to a month, and they've always been just fine.

Just make sure you aren't eating out of the jar or adding bacteria somehow...

Try looking at a recipe for applesauce. You'll see it's a ton, literally, a ton of sugar.

That stuff ain't going bad.
