"Flickr" and the internet?

Does anyone know how long it usually takes for pics downloaded on the Flickr website to show up when you do an image search on Yahoo?
I have quite a few on this site that are all designated as "public" but, I have yet to see any of them come up when I do an image search on Yahoo. (I have added as many "tags" in the description for each pic that I could think of.)
Does it usually take a while for an image to be recognized in an image search?

Big search engines like Google and Yahoo use site crawlers to cache information (at least I think Yahoo does).

While they crawl major sites like Flickr often, it is not daily. It could take a few weeks, or it might show up tomorrow. There is really no way to tell.
