Would it be possible to burn the audio tracks of a movie on to a CD, to play on

your cd player? I have a very long drive to work and would like to listen to some funny movies on the car's CD player. I don't have a portable DVD player, nor do I want one. I just want to be able to listen to the movies.

    Any tips appreciated.

There are programs that will extract the sound from a DVD. Of course you have to then go in and take out the parts you want (usually it's the songs people want) Or edit the movie down to 72 minutes because that's all that will fit on a CD.

Google 'DVD audio extractor' and you'll see several programs to do this. I have a preference for 'open source' programs because (1) they are free and (2) with open source you know there is no funny business--spyware or whatever.
