Becuase the news channels are rubbish, they NEVER actually say WHY we are fighting in these countries they just report people who are died and critise the governement for sending troops out there. so please someone remove my ignorance and tell me whats actually going on.

ok, i know there is loads of controversy about it, but why do the GOVERNEMENTS say we are there, forgetting all the scepticals for a moment.
