centrino duo by intel, what is it, and how good is it against others????

so i have this laptop and wanted to know what the sticker meant. all it says is intel centrino duo. so is this a 1 processor pc, or 2? specs are; cx210x, intel core duo cpu, t2350 @ 1.86ghz, .99gb ram. its a gateway convertible tablet. so, any ideas if all this means a good pc or what? any and all info will be greatly appreciated.

It is a single-processor with two cores--both work independently much like two separate processors. The clock speed is respectable (consider that the M-class processors are more efficient so you should double the clock rate to compare processing power with Pentium processors.)
The RAM is low. To get better performance, upgrade to 1.5GB min to 3.5GB max. See the Intel site for more detailed info.
