Will 8800GT 512mb video card run for Windows XP?

Hi i might be getting the 8800GT video card in a few days and my current OS is Windows XP Home Edition, i was wondering if the video card will be compatible for XP or is it only for Vista.. ;S

Yes it will be compatible, but you wont be able to use the direct x 10 capabilities which can only be used with vista, but it will likely do a good job on your system anyway

It will work. but you cant have direct X 10 if on XP.
