360 Ring of death, AC Adapter light.?

My 360 has just been touched by the ring of death, I heard somewhere that this also may be caused be the AC Adapter (the giant unnecessary block) depending on the colour of the light on it, does someone know what colour the light has to be for it to stop working?
 
if the light is RED it means the ac adaptor is faulty

if it is orange ...the ac adaptor is on standy

if it is green the ac adaptor is currently supplying power

LOOK AT THE BOTTOM OF THE BLOK..IT SAYS WHAT THE LIGHT MEANs

I reecently got the red lightt...its a problem with your 360 CALL MICROSOFT AND THEY WILL REPAIR IT FOR FREE

THEY PAY EVEN FOR THE POSTAGE AND PACKAGEING

AND AFTER THEY HAVE REPAIRED IT U GET 1 MONTH FREE XBOX LIVE :)
