Has anyone honeymooned in the Mayan Riviera?

We are planning our honeymoon for this August (delayed honeymoon because I am a teacher) and we love the Mayan Riviera, but can't decide on a resort! They all look great! Has anyone been there on their honeymoon, or vacation too, and can you recommend a resort? Thank you!!

My husband and I were originally going to honeymoon there, but we ended up going to San Diego instead. We looked at a lot of resorts, and the only thing we can advise is that you be aware that some of the resorts lost a lot of their beach front after the hurricane season of two years ago. So if you want to lay on the beach, make sure you see visitor photos from the place you think about staying. There are an increasing amount of AI resorts (All-Inclusive) so make sure the one you choose is more for romance, and not for families. Here is a site that I recommend.
