I burned maybe 3 or 4 movies successfully using Nero to burn the files to a data cd. I slowed the burn speed down to 16x to try to ensure a decent quality and successful copy to play on my dvd/divx player. I have found that after burning these few discs for some reason (using the exact same method) my computer no longer carries out the task successfully. One drive seems to fail mid-way through burning and the other seems to complete the disc but is out of sync when played.
Does anybody know a solution for this as I am wasting many discs and it's really frustrating.

this is just my way of doing it.

and most of my family and friends now agree with me

get a cheap cd / dvd burner

http://www.svp.com (good deals)

buy cheap cd / dvd rs
datasafe brand from the site above
(no i dont work or own the site i just think its a good place to
get most of your pc needs from )

now get rid of nero and get an old copy of

roxio easy cd / dvd creator v 6

i buy my cd / dvds in the box load
and burn divx xvid movies i make and or download
all the time.

and maybe 1 out of every 100 cd / dvds
i have a bad burn.

hope this helps

(your vd / dvd drive may be ok its just nero is cr@p)
if i do say so myself.........

have you tryed burning the disc with windows media player in the burn drop down menu just tick data cd

Have you tried uploading the videos into links, then using vixy.net to convert them into another format?

had the same prob using Philips dvd's, so i tried Maxwell's and was happy as can be
