A few questions about my puppy...?

I have a small terrier mix, 5 mos old...I have two questions:
1) I'm using the training pads and she is pretty consistent with peeing on them but will not poop on them and if i bring her over to it in the middle of her pooping she will not continue, but walk away and poop somewhere else a little later. Any suggestions??

2) She licks a lot...I don't mind a little bit but she will be non stop. I just move and pet her a little and then she will get the hint, but I know not everyone who greets her wants a doggy bath. What can I do?

1) One thing that you can do is that is she poops someplace else punish her and stick her nose by where the poop is (i knoe it works trust me) then move her to where she needs to poop and tell her this i where she poops.

2) I have this problem with my dog. One thing you can do is stare at her and say stop licking and she will stop. say something like HEY loudly and like your mad and say stop licking and put your fingers over her mouth. Shell be fine. If she puts her head down and loks sad its ok.
