if i have received a new Nokia 6500 slide phone when I upgraded my plan?

Can I sell it as 'locked' or 'unlocked'?

I have a 24mth contract with Virgin mobile but don't need the new phone as my current phone is only 6 months old.

I havnt opened the box or tried the phone, so I dont know that it only works with virgin, that was my question. Do phones come locked or unlocked? or it varies with the carrier?

id ur phone works with VIRGIN ONLY it is locked
if it works with )2, orange, t,mobile.... it is unlocked

so if it only works with virgin it is
LOCKED TO VIRGIN
