1st of all I have a 68 Impala Coupe with a 71 Camaro 350 engine in it with a 350 Turbo Tran. 4 bolt main. A 750 Holley Avenger Carb. It has dual flowmasters and headers. Engine and Tran was rebuilt 20k miles ago and runs strong. Use a budget rebuild kit to rebuild
I want more power out of my 350 and was told the power comes from the heads, intake, carb, cam, headers, exhaust
I want to use it for weekend highway cruises. I want it to have a little more start-up power off the line and run on pump gas
I was told to get a bigger cam and stall converter for the tran would give me more power off the line. The problem is I am a beginner and know nothing about camshafts. Which 1 would be good for me and what specs on the box should I be looking for?
