I think a virus has degraded my internet browser performance...?

Just removed what Symantec calls Trojan.Vundo. Ever since, the internet seems to run in degraded manner. I can still access the internet, but from my homepage, I can't really get to anything else. Also, it took about three weeks before I was able to remove the trojan successfully and I'm afraid it has caused permanent damage. Can anyone help???

go to start menu..click RUN..type MSCONFIG...it will ask u to restart ur comp..do it..try..it may help..or again scan the files with a powerful antivirus..or take out ur RAM from the cpu..then again put it..it helps..
