    Can i use other music players than iTunes to actually PUT music on my iPod?

    I've asked a bunch of people, and they all say different things.
    Is it that you can get any file on if its .mp3 onto your iPod, without getting iTunes;
    or that you HAVE to get iTunes to get stuff on your ipod?

    thankks

    Yes, you do need to use the iTunes PROGRAM (free) to sync your iPod to put songs onto it.

    However, you do NOT need to buy songs from iTunes to make them work on your iPod. As long as they are mp3, or WMV (will automatically be converted by iTunes) they can be dragged and dropped into your iPod through iTunes.
