How do you change your password if it is liked to your Verizon yahoo account?

I recently returned a computer that I bought that was defective. Before I returned the computer I set up Outlook and forgot to remove it. I was trying to change my yahoo password, but it says to either call Verizon (wich is closed now) or use the change password tool. The password tool asks for my dsl user name and password wich are different fom my email user name and password. When I click the link to change the password, it changes my dsl password but not my yahoo password. I tried entering my yahoo information but the tool does not recognize it.
