I'm currently 26 and working multiple jobs to make ends meet. I have an Associates degree (total of 100+ hours of credit and a 3.12 GPA) that I can't do much of anything with. I want to go back to school to get a 4-year degree but cannot afford it on my current salary. I'm looking into the Navy and Air Force as a Crypto Linguist (Airborne Crypto Linguist is also an AF option). I've always been interested in learning a foreign language, great at working independently, and a fast learner so I think I would be good at this job (I remember scoring a 94 on my ASVAB in high school). I'm also getting married in 2 months and I'm curious as to what the quality of life is like for married service members in the 2 branches. Any information would be more helpful than what I have. I've talked to recruiters and they have been a big help, but I'm wondering if there is anything I missed or that I didn't ask.
