Aaron Rodgers would likely play really well if he had a road game on the moon, but there's something about Lambeau Field that makes it seem like Rodgers is using a cheat code.
The last time Rodgers threw an interception at Lambeau Field was Dec. 2, 2012. The Green Bay Packers quarterback and reigning NFL MVP has made 16 straight home starts without an interception. Tom Brady held the mark of consecutive home passes without an interception at 288. Rodgers is up to 486 (ummm, wow), and he has thrown 43 touchdowns (!) at home since his last interception after a five-touchdown night in a surprisingly easy 38-28 win over the Kansas City Cheifs.
Here's why Rodgers' unbelievable home dominance really matters: The Packers look like an overwhelming favorite to get the No. 1 seed in the NFC this season.

Maybe the Arizona Cardinals have something to say about that, or perhaps even the Atlanta Falcons or Carolina Panthers, but if you're putting your money on someone to get home-field advantage throughout the NFC playoffs, it's clearly Green Bay. And good luck to anyone trying to beat the Packers at Lambeau Field.
Rodgers is also building an early case for another MVP award. He was really sharp on Monday night. If you held a decent lead in your fantasy league heading into Monday night but faced Rodgers, sorry for your loss. Rodgers was 24-of-35 for 333 yards, five touchdowns and no interceptions. It's amazing that the Packers could have been even better on offense had Jordy Nelson, the team's only true deep threat, not gotten hurt.
Nobody should ever look forward to a trip to Wisconsin in January. Multiply that dread a few times if you're an NFC team hoping to make the Super Bowl this season. Right now, Rodgers and the Packers look close to unbeatable at Lambeau Field.
