first off, your avatar is cute 
secondly.. i had that phone for a few days and it was quite possible the worst phone i have ever owned. It really felt cheap and was very hard to text on. Like you, i text a lot & with this phone it was pretty much impossible. it was also just a horrible phone to get use to. Battery life was horrible.
i hated it.
